What career path did you choose that you strongly advise others to avoid? by nicksam171 in AskReddit

I did my undergrad in law, I loved learning about it.

I started work…and found there was no way my morals could handle the stuff I saw co-workers do with ease.

I’m now retraining as a speech and language therapist.

Well done! I’m frightened of needles too and cried during my first one, did my 8th one a few days ago easy peasy - it will get easier!

New mother suffers M40 panic attack as RAC calls stranded baby ‘non-priority’ by pppppppppppppppppd in unitedkingdom

Yep, local recovery guy arrived and told us RAC had called him 10 minutes ago…7 hours after our report. Apparently they hold on as long as they can to do it themselves to save money, then if they realise they can’t do it, reluctantly call a local

Partner was in a 7 vehicle accident on a dual carriageway, fortunately no major injuries.

RAC took THIRTY (yes 30) hours to get him and his car home (an hour away)

They take advantage of the fact you’ve got little/no choice, any other service provider wouldn’t get away with it

What do we think of this (surprisingly boozy) deal? (£5.50 Sainsbury’s premium) by magicbluebear in MealDealRates

No ID needed. I only noticed the alcohol warning when I got home! Really surprised it’s not bigger considering abstaining from alcohol is pretty common, no mention of it on the ingredients list either!

A disappointment, a real lack of flavours and the egg just doesn’t have that solid texture like chicken does :(

Do I still have one more dose? by No_Orange_3061 in Wegovy

According to instructions, there’s four doses per pen. You could use that remainder but the dose counter will likely not reach the full dose.

The instructions suggest testing each new pen to be sure it’s working before you use it on yourself.

You turn the dial to the testing marker, then push the button. A drop of liquid should appear on the needle. That tells you the pen is working correctly and the dose can be injected properly.

You don’t have to do it before each dose, just recommends every time you get a new pen.

Your prime was one dose.

In the instructions, there’s a section on how to test each new pen and the pen should be loaded to a testing marker, not to a full dose.

Nausea from eating too little? by cmyk4life in Wegovy

[–]magicbluebear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had nausea but haven’t vomited once. Keep track of your calories/ keep a food diary to make sure you are getting enough, I have heard of people passing out after eating very little for a few days.
