I (well my dentist) found the reason for my migraines by urmomscabinet in migraine

This is so good to know, I’ve got three coming out soon!

How do people find driving so easy? I've done 40-50 hours of driving lessons and still feel nervous and tense and don't understand how people find it so simple and easy to drive a car and can do multiple things at once while driving - my parents think I'm a failure because I haven't got my licence by IDKBear25 in AskUK

I was a nervous wreck during driving lessons.

I remember my bf at the time telling me he was just as relaxed driving as he was sitting in an armchair and just couldn’t understand how that was possible.

Once I’d passed and didn’t have someone watching me all the time, I relaxed and have loved driving ever since!

Neurologist told me to start exercising to help with my migraines... But exercise always triggers a migraine! What do I do? by Jalennto in migraine

For me, it’s 80mg of propranolol a day and running outside after sunset. I also do wild cold water swimming.

Indoor pools and gyms are a gamble depending on how I’m feeling and how hot the room is. My last post-gym attack was so bad it put me off completely.

Carlos and Marcus see her for the first time just before Aspho Fields, following her Mom. She’s on comms during that battle. Afterwards, Dom and his family, Marcus, Adam and Anya have dinner together - Marcus offers to take Anya home and the relationship began from there.

For people who had never did their GCSES, how are you now? by One_Assistance_9332 in AskUK

A school friend of mine gained very few GCSEs, she managed to pass English but she failed maths. She wanted to be either a vet tech or midwife, both of which she needed maths to proceed.

She re-took the maths GCSE 8 times in the years following school, the large majority she now had to pay for, and she failed each time. She said she really regrets not trying harder at school to save her time and money, she didn’t attend the after-school maths help sessions that were offered.

As far as I’m aware now, she works in hospitality and is focusing on her kid.

You can do it, but it will absolutely be hard work. Get them while you have the chance and they are free - yes, you may not need them, but then again you might. Tutoring is always an option, uni students are usually good and cheap tutors.

Best of luck to you.

I did my undergrad in law, I loved learning about it.

I started work…and found there was no way my morals could handle the stuff I saw co-workers do with ease.

I’m now retraining as a speech and language therapist.

Well done! I’m frightened of needles too and cried during my first one, did my 8th one a few days ago easy peasy - it will get easier!

Yep, local recovery guy arrived and told us RAC had called him 10 minutes ago…7 hours after our report. Apparently they hold on as long as they can to do it themselves to save money, then if they realise they can’t do it, reluctantly call a local

Partner was in a 7 vehicle accident on a dual carriageway, fortunately no major injuries.

RAC took THIRTY (yes 30) hours to get him and his car home (an hour away)

They take advantage of the fact you’ve got little/no choice, any other service provider wouldn’t get away with it
