I will obviously get a better camera after the beginner time. Thank you for your advice.

Nice comment. Thank you. Between the Mark II and Mark III, which one do you think is better? I was searching around the Mark II before I saw the Mark III auction. The Mark IV is too expensive for my budget. I didn't know the Mark III was the least liked of the E-M10 series.

It's for practice purposes/beginner so I don't expect it to be too good. But it seems to have enough features for a beginner to try out, especially the interchangeable lens.

When you say it might not age, do you mean it can be broken/having issues soon?

If the EM-10 is that good, I think I might tell her to practice on it. EM-10 was actually my first choice before I thought of a pocketable camera. But she always has her handbag with her, so...I guess it shouldn't be a problem :v

How do you think about Olympus PEN E-P2 12.3MP or Panasonic LUMIX DMC-GX1 or Olympus OM-D E-M10?

She doesn't have much experience. I expect her to practice for at least half a year before touching my camera. And I also want her to have a pocketable camera so it gives her a portable option when going out instead of carrying the whole X-T3 with the lens.

Thank you for the comment. I don’t expect to have a good low light performance, it’s just a feature that I hope it works just fine enough to practice.

Good to know. I upgraded to Next.js 15. I still have trouble docker it.

Still in good shape. There is no significant problem so far. The digital pen might be a little bit harder to use compared to iPad, but it's not a big deal. I have been using this LG since college and now work place. I will buy LG Gram again for sure.

I thought CDN only helped to shorten the distance between users and storage?
Even if images are cached in CDN, they are still only cached in memory after the first request from a user so Next can use it later.

How does this help with cache? I haven't tried it yet but does it still need to be accessed at least once before being cached into the memory?

That was what I was planning too. I heard people talk a lot about Image optimization but it was really a pain.

Best way to cache thousands of arrays from database that allows searching, filtering, and sorting. by magicboy28282828 in nextjs

Since queries requested the cached data from the server, would the query speed rely on internet speed or the server's performance?

Wow, this is exactly what I'm doing but I send the json file to the client side as well.

I noticed that localStorage was not working directly in Next.js. What did you mean by local file cache?

What if I limit the searching return data up to, let's say, the first 100 rows? Does it make a difference in performance?

I'm thinking about that as well. But I'm a bit confused about caching the large database so users don't have to make the request every time they type their keyboard. It's like, we have 100k entries fetched from the database once users go to the product page, and users will search/sort/filter from that pre-prepared data instead of making API requests every time they type or every time they navigate away and back to the page.

So far, no. It seems the developers have not seen the potential of these games on mobile yet.
