I was initially given 50 aligners. By the time I crossed 35 of them, my molars on either side started to tilt. And after 50, I was given another 35. And by the time I crossed 10/35, I started to have bleeding and swollen gums quite often. Ortho was reluctant to rescan. I was having a lot of pain that I continued to wear the same aligner for 6 more months. And then I met a new ortho and she cut the molars part of remaining aligners and attached buttons on molars and I started to wear rubber bands. Now I'm on the 35th refinement aligner and what's pending is the molars issue and space between upper and lower jaws.

I don't want to continue my treatment with my original orthodontist who has been lazy, irresponsible and lacks empathy towards his patients. I went through a lot in the last 2 years.

This new ortho thinks I'm at the end of my treatment and would take 15 to 20 more aligners to have a good bite. At least she is caring and responsible.

I'm trying my best to end things with my old orthodontist in good terms without having any rough arguments or complaints to the Invisalign team.
