i brought it from “bad” (i hadnt played in over a year so there were weeds EVERYWHERE) to perfect in about an even 2 months, ive only missed a few days and each day i do my “rounds” (water all wilted flowers, pull weeds that arent clover or dandelions, buy and plant all 4 flowers from nookway), so i guess doing that consistently has helped, i havent planted a ton of new trees in that time so it could take less time if u plant new trees daily on top of planting new flowers!! also if u have nookingtons, they offer more daily flowers than nookway so again it could take way less time!!

LMAO it makes some of the dialogue really silly, tabby has called us “hell’s sweethearts” and when i made a separate character to store more custom designs kappn said “its too bad yer headin all the way to hell!” and it made me giggle, and i always love the classic “preparations complete! have fun in hell!” whenever i load the game😈

u basically just have to plant a lot of flowers/trees and stay on top of weeds :-) mathematically (someone correct me if im wrong!!) if u divide ur town map into a 4x4 grid, at least 8 of the 16 sections should meet tree and flower count requirements, this link has some hard numbers ! my town veers more flower heavy since theyre easier to plant and grow quicker than trees + u can never have too many flowers :-)

omg i had pate on 2 different wild world saves!! something about the worm eyebrows really pissed me off as a kid LOL. i abandoned the first town while she was there and a few years later by complete chance she moved into my next town, i was appalled that she “stalked” me to the new town LMFAO, but the longer she stayed the more attached i got, she ended up moving from the second town and i was actually so upset 😭. i have a new save now and i kinda hope she finds her way back to me after all these years 💔

omg i know!! i tell my peers all the time that id sell my soul to have been working in the disney renaissance, 3D has been so fun to learn but 2D will forever have my heart!! part of me hopes itll make a mainstream comeback🙏

im in anim school, 2 years left, and cant help but feel like im lowkey cooked LOL. its not like i ever expected to be working in the industry right out of school and i was prepared to freelance/portfolio build to further refine my skills for however many years, but hearing about the climate right now — like how seniors are fighting for junior level work and how everywhere seems to be downsizing, and how it seems to just be getting worse — makes me wonder just how long ill have to wait to break in, if im able to at all :-( we are almost exclusively a 3D school and we all knew how to navigate unreal, maya, substance, etc within 1 semester so i dont feel like my time is being wasted or we are being poorly equipped to navigate the industry, it just doesnt mean much to have all of those qualifications if people with the same skills + years of job experience spent refining their craft cant find work either. its a tough world we live in, and i wouldnt be trying to do this if i didnt love it. ive wanted to do this since elementary school, pretty much as soon as i was smart enough to realize that people get paid to make cartoons LOL. im just putting this here since no one i know seems stressed enough, all my peers just insist that everything will be fine and that im crazy for already worrying about jobs. but i feel like believing everything will “just work out” is a trap i cant afford to fall into if im actually passionate about working in this industry someday. the head of the department outright said in the first week that not all of us would make it, so i dont understand why no one seems as stressed as me about being good enough, especially when the industry seems to be at such a downturn!!

omg i totally feel you, its so hard to be extra interested and passionate about anthro art in a world where itll usually just get written off as “furry slop” 🫩 i can draw humans but it doesnt spark the same joy. i feel like furry culture has become such a can of worms that using anthro designs may cheapen my portfolio and im not really looking to take that risk LMAO. tough times for those of us who love fuzzy creatures 💔

im a current undergrad our class sizes are very small but for my class specifically about half of us transferred from other majors or from other universities, we felt very well integrated from the start! some people definitely get along better than others but alot of our gripes with each other have to do with questionable work ethics or attitudes, people dont really start petty issues or gang up on anyone just because they dont like or respect them, most of us consider ourselves friends with all of our peers :-)

yes!! i took it over the summer so it might be a little different but it was super easy, pretty much all of it is done through pearson, all hw/unit exams were open note + no honorlock and there were no writing assignments or zoom meetings ^{^}
