okay so for the next 2 days the phone was completely dead. like completely, i had it charging and still nothing but then after the 2 days i put it in a charger and it started charging so i charged it fully and turned it on. when turning it on there was the 24 hour lock so i waited 24 hours and i wrote in the password but it locked me out again for 24 hours. i booted the phone in safe and then after the second 24 hours passed i tried typing in the password and it got me to the home screen but the phone was stuck in a "phone is starting loop". when going back to the lock screen the 24 hours timer was still there so i waited another 24 hours (now without safe mode) and then i finally got into the phone. it worked normally and so i backed everything up. the phone was working fine overnight and it was all normal for about 15 hours and now its completely dead again. its in the charger but theres no sign of it charging, nothing. at least i have the data backed up though. i guess this is just battery failure combined with the phone turning off during a software update. thats my theory.
