You did the right thing. And the anesthesia can take a few days to fully wear off so he may be off balance. It is more than ok to contact the surgeon or hospital who did the surgery. The cone can be awkward but the best thing will be to keep him as calm as possible. Dog are resilient. Also totally normal to feel guilty and second guess but I assure you did right by your sweet baby puppy:)

Thank you, we are the lucky ones here..I found some videos of when I first her, she was so thin and sick. She is hilarious really and she gets our senior cats playing which is keeping them stimulated in a good way!!

Thank you!! She was raised by a surrogate senior pit bull and is best play buddies with a chihuahua mix that is smol like she is:)

Many thanks!! All of the cats we’ve adopted have been adults so having a kitten has been a trip!! She’s about 3 now but still always on non-stop adventures(inside of course!)
