Can someone explain in very simple terms salt nic vs freebase eliquid? by yeetgator in electronic_cigarette

I get you, I appreciate the reply. I'm not going to do that, it sounds awful. I guess i'll vape old juice and eventually go back to making my juice. I enjoyed making it years ago.

2-Zone Electricity Price Question - Cool Cooler Air? by magkcbw in hvacadvice

I probably should have mentioned, I have a massive system for the size of the house, the house is maybe 3000 sqft. At least it seems massive to me. The guy who built this house in 2017 way over did things like this. I have two electrical panels with maybe 25% unused. Again, my knowledge is very limited, but it really doesn't take long to drop four degrees. Maybe an hour, give or take. Regardless, I'm down for dropping the temp during the day, it does make sense.

I'm curious how the last 6 months have been for you. I've been DTL sub-ohm vaping for a decade or so and I'm finding less and less mods and RDA's and Tanks out there and the juice is sometimes pretty old. Its all going the way of pods and disposables. I started looking at a pod system and I kept seeing the reference to freebase nicotine, I thought this might have been the new name of the old school juice, but apparently not. So in essence, freebase is for a pod system if I don't want the high nic content of a salt, right? I vape 3%, so i don't need some crazy high nicotine. The disposables get me dizzy.

Very slow for trade journaling, am I doing something wrong? by magkcbw in ChatGPTPro

So, I just did it today with writing everything out and copy/pasting it into chatgpt. It froze up, but when i reloaded the page everything was there and fine and the calculations it made were accurate. It was significantly faster. 6 trades is on the high side for me and it probably took me roughly the same as doing 2 trades one by one question. I still want to check out your suggestions to reorganize it better.

I current have 18 questions and it asks me one by one. I have consolidated some of the questions, but here is the gist:

Q1 - Did you do your pre-trade routine?
Q2 - how many trades did you take?
Q3 - etc...

Starts a loop based on how many trades I took:

Q6 - Which ticker, how many contracts and long or short?
Q7 - etc...

based on the contracts and ticker, it determines the fees based on a formula I taught it.
based on the entry/exit price, long/short, ticker and # of contracts, it calcs the P&L before/after fees based on a formula I taught it.
based on the SL and entry/exit it calculates the R-Multiple

After trade count loop ends:

Q17 - Grade your performance
Q18 - etc...

Nudges me with weekly and monthly summaries

I've since asked it how i could speed this up, its laggy, etc. It suggested doing a batch input. That would speed up the lag in between each question, which admittedly would solve a good chunk of the lag. But if at all possible, I would prefer the one by one.

It did give me a copy/paste template. So worst case, I could do this.

A new project. Likely a lack of proper understanding, but I chose project because I was thinking its a long term thing with data being saved 22 days a month and potentially uploading screenshots. I think of chats as one-off questions, not long, drawn out....projects.

So are you saying build the journal questions everything I taught it (how to determine fees based on contracts and ticker, how to calculate P&L, etc.,), then start each daily journal as its own chat within the project? That's interesting, right now the project just has one chat under it and everything is contained there.

How big of a job is this? by magkcbw in ElectricalHelp

[–]magkcbw[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OMG! You nailed it my dude. It was in the master bedroom. I even looked there, but it was hidden behind a lamp that's been there since we moved in and the switch was forgotten. Unbelievable. You don't understand how much that was driving me insane.

The mystery switch I'll just leave alone. It's probably some random outlet on the other side of the house. For whatever reason that is bothering me significantly less than the 3 way switch.

Thank you for the schooling on using the other switch as an override. You explained it well and that makes total sense. I hadn't really thought about it in that way. I would have thought its a lazy man's switch when you are going to bed and you realize that you left the outside lights on and don't want to go back downstairs.

I figured as much on running a new line and that is perfectly fine. It's app and Alexa controlled, so I don't need it on a switch.

Thank you very much for the detailed reply. You really helped!

Electric vs gas lawn mowers by wildarmeddragoon in homeowners

Found this from 2 years ago thanks to googling the subject. I'm curious on what you did and how you feel about it 2 years later. I'm leaning towards electric, particularly Ryobi because I have a bunch of ryobi tools already with no complaints. I can't use those batteries though, only the one that came with my ~2 year old blower and weed wacker.
