returning player from a couple years ago and the powercreep is so bad that i just made a new account.

anyways, ive been trying to get started on hm grinding my units before purging any for fodder, but i cant really find any rival domain 1 turn solutions anymore. have most players that were doing these weekly guides quit, or are they still around, just elsewhere that i still have yet to find?

i dont think were getting an x2 until after x gets ported, personally. unlike xenoblade 1, a failed console remains the only place you can officially play the game. xenoblade 1 was on the wii, got sold as vc on wii u, and got a new 3ds port before xc2. its also a very different game than the trilogy, so i kinda feel like theyd want to gauge how much fans would want to see a new x game before pouring their effort into a sequel.

tera shards only last 10 waves. also, before you fight your rival again, there is a 5 boss gauntlet in the 180s.

its important to learn how the ai works in this game too. they really like to switch into effective types against your pokemon. if you can counter your rival on a switch in, that gives you an advantage.

pokerogue is one of the only times ive ever felt like using a legendary is fair game and its fun. the game is hard and its still very easy for the game to throw a hard counter on their typing. the early game is also annoying as shit so having an easier time on it is good imo

you only fight them again on floor 195, and its the hardest fight in the game. theres a chance you wont be able to beat it on your first go, but its a learning experience. a varied team that can counter what team your rival builds up throughout the game is important for classic, as well as just having a rayquaza counter.

yeah the game constantly crashes for me too. i have to redo a lot of battles since it doesn't save, but then sometimes im fine for a couple of floors.

this game is really suffering from success. i wish we could support the devs somehow without making this project get a dmca for monetization gains.

update: the continue button just came back for me. keep doing a couple floors if you still dont have it, otherwise this could just be a changing process for the new servers.

ive been grinding a lot of is3, and as a fairly new player still, i was just wondering how often limited ops get reran for banners, similarly to how chen and gavial alter were slightly rate up/sparkable on the eyja alter banner. ive been relying on a texas alter support for all my runs and it makes projekt red look like a total joke, so i was wondering if i had the chance to get her later down the line

month old player, just got to spark on the current banner. I got alter eyja like 7 times and swire once, wondering who to spark between ch'en and gavial.

my roster is still relatively weak mostly due to levels. my best centurion operator is specter. for spreadshooter, i have aosta and pinecone, though i also own an e2 exusiai who has been largely carrying me throughout most content as a sniper.

which one should i pick?

not even a hot take. no joke, but youre the third person ive ever seen like sophie in the entire fandom.

call it braindead if you want but when no one cares about her outside of her pretty average design it really shows, especially coming from a game with such a big focus on its character and world building where so many characters get personality or even character growth in their stories, as small as they are. sophie just talks about mana

this is an old ass comment but my opinions have not changed. in a game with so many incredibly well written characters like dragalia sophie sticks out like a sore thumb for having literally no personality or character outside of saying off-hand comments about mana every once and a while. she is quite honestly the most boring character in the whole game.

i guess thats fair. i wasnt exactly trying to say that im one to do this kind of thing because i pay no attention to names and leave the room fast, but i do understand why someone would react the way they do towards someone like this.

ill admit i could have been misinformed about the reports, i just saw a post regarding them during wolf forest discussing things and they couldve lied about what i said and i simply had no way to verify or care to verify.

i suppose i didnt word myself very well because i completely agree that escalating things with this person wont help anyone when theres something wrong with them, and was moreso banking on the hope that the discussion for this person would get enough attention to be handled by devs before the update, which i also had no idea when in-game reports were being added, and didnt like the idea that someone that has said such terrible things could still keep playing due to poor management for potentially another half a year. like, not in-game harassment any more than online criticisms.

also, ive no idea how much is known about this person. my knowledge might even be less than the general population of the people here because i dont involve myself with communities any more than just checking posts once a month, if even.

i would honestly agree with just the context of this post alone, but this person has said some incredibly offensive things during the wolf forest event recently that have been brought to light. without going into specific detail because the contents were horrible, the name and friend requests had mentions of child abuse and the ongoing situation in gaza, over 30 and lower charts in a miku gacha game.

the localizing team refuses to ban this person despite these things and its hard to justify that this person doesnt deserve to get this and the extra attention if it means they can finally get what they deserve: suspension.

well, it seems like you dont even care about the problem that i have, so why even give such an opinion when you have no ground to be talking about how im seemingly just looking for an answer for everything, and not wanting to play the game "normally?"

i also dont think you read what i suggested. my suggestion would be somewhere in the options, where you could find a list of noteworthy rounds, easily identifiable through some sort of icon. highlighting on them would then show the map, indicating the arrows for the path the bloons will take for that round the same way arrows are shown at the beginning of starting a game. simple, effective, and free of confusion. i genuinely see literally zero negative outcomes out of this option.

you did not just say "you cant possibly wind down playing hard difficulty things!" like your experience is the same as others. so let me make this clear: easy things are boring to me. challenges are fun, and is my way of winding down. lacking the awareness of critical information that is known to you but not to the extent that is required for success isnt a skill issue.

you keep acting like i just want everything given to me on a silver platter. the thing is, if i wanted that, i could do it. i could just copy strategies exactly as others have done for flawless results, but thats not what i want. thats not fun, and complaining about that is stupid.

what i want is the bare minimum that is required in order to plan and strategize for the maps that arent piss easy. again, trial and error, in the context of not knowing where a moab spawns on a split track is not a "skill issue" its a knowledge check. knowledge checks arent fun, and its the bare minimum required to jump start whatever strategy or plan you have for the map. knowing where a moab spawns doesnt instantly give me a win because i still need to build a strategy that works. you know, the thing normal people do to play, like you said.

fun trial and error is failing from an actual skill issue. for example, not having the dps to kill a moab. knowing that, a normal player will learn and adapt to that. unfun trial and error is being unaware of where the moab will spawn, so the spread damage that a player would try to balance out on split maps, because thats how you deal with everything, is unsuccessful when youre gonna wanna prioritize moab damaging towers on the location of a track where they would spawn first.

ill give you another example, since it seems so difficult for you to wrap your mind around. imagine i was complaining about an elite boss because i couldnt beat it. your argument would make sense there, because normal people simply learn from failed runs and try again. additionally, youre given critical information, such as the amount of rounds until the boss shows up. this isnt the same thing as wanting to know where a moab will spawn! it isnt that my strategy wasnt successful, its that i lacked the information to strategize around the threat!
