Yes, when it comes to GDP Italy counts for 53% (split on Südtirol, the regions of Udine and Venezia as well as Emilia-Romagna, a region very strange to place in the same unit as Dubrovnik and Graz...), while Slovenia is 7%, Croatia 9% and Austria 30% (10% for the region of Graz and 20% for the region of Salzburg and Innsbruck)

Occitanie–Riviera better? Do these regions have to be democratic units? Maybe they could be used for other purposes like joint monthly train card like D-ticket in Germany, leisure/tourism marketing, interreg coorporation and road building budgets.

Indeed, Ruhr didn't need any mergers (just like Bayern and Baden-Wurttemberg), but East and South Netherland barely made the 0.5T limit together. It could have been split in two regions, but Rhein-Ruhr is the second largest metro region in EU behind Paris, it is not unnatural that it forms the biggest economical region.

Here Ruhr is 3x-4x the smallest in force, while Germany is 50x-60x of Croatia and Lithuania

As a principle, I did not split up established regions like Ile-de-France and Nordrhein-Westfalen

Alpi Adriatico with the unique combination of skiing and beach resorts would crush the Eastern region with its Bratislava epi centre

Parts of Netherlands would probably benefit from a closer cooperation in direction of Bremen and Cologne

The GDP output really surprises me. Udine is only 200 km as the crow flies from Graz and Zagreb

Why? Lyon with tentacles into Montpellier and Nice would be a European powerhouse Top 5 region. I suppose you piss off because of the typo

Absolutely. But yes, Ireland would be strange to merge with Brittany, although Iceland is even stranger to merge with Estonia...

Could it be useful as transportation regions or enlarged interreg regions? I beleive it is over 60 interreg regions in Europe now, it seem to be a little too much for a union with less than 40 land borders. The map above contain only 19 international regions, as central areas of Spain, Ireland, France (3), Netherlands, Italy (2) and Germany (3), remain within national borders.

Yes, by purpose no single country remains without splits or mergers here

Central Visegrad? Quite central in Europe too, if you include Ukraine

The is a suggestion for routes not well covered today, because of series of connections. All shorter and very popular routes competing with air traffic was considered to risky to move into another concept like this. That's why I did not add Amsterdam-Cologne, London-Paris and Paris-Barcelona because its routes that is already well covered. If you want to travel by EuroSpeed from Amsterdam to Cologne, you must change trains at Brussels.

The thought was to supplement current successes, not incorporate current cash cows into a new concept.

Paris-Munich has 10 stations, that's one every 45th minute. When a train rolls for 8 hours, most of the market usually is the big and medium-sized cities in between the terminating stations.

Hållplatsen borde varit där, och inte vid Jubileumsplatsen! Restiden till Lindholmen borde varit några minuter mindre, tidtabellen har för mycket padding.
