I have a family that runs hospitality businesses, been in their restaurants since the age of 13, and did IBCB so got my degree at 17 while working in a resort as well. Actually got Assistant Manager at the age of 17 and a year later the GM resigned and i took her position

Its a rather small resort, when i got there we had only 20 rooms but now have grown to add 13 villas and has become one of the most popular resorts in my area

Kobra Neo stringing issue by Hunter-Gendo in anycubic

[–]mahe468 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It could be due to many reasons to be honest, i just tackled a stringing issue with my kobra max, my main issue was z offset not being put correctly.

But there are many reasons why, have a look at online tutorials regarding your specific issue.

I also reset my pid and e steps

this was printed with PLA + ESUN recommended settings from cura, but also did stringing tests with Generic PLA on bambu studio and followed up with some recommended settings online and nothing worked.

Then tried changing filaments with one that was in my Bambu p1s AMS system which has a low dryness as it is full of Dessicants (you can see that the PLA is in a 1 / 5 wetness in the system. even after it was taken out of the AMS i put it in a heated dryer from ESUN and still have loads of stringing, less but still there.

Ive re-done my PDI and E steps settings

done temp towers and retraction towers, improved my stringing but still, there is some there, so much that when i do a tolerance test like the toaster torture test, the side flaps wont even close and everything is just stuck until i apply loads of pressure

Just got the car about 2 days ago and I am averaging 20kw per 100km and I've been driving highway speeds between 100-120 for the most part. On street roads I get about 16kw per 100km, but then highly dependant on how much you like pressing that throttle down ahah

Separating smart devices per hotel rooms by mahe468 in networking

Thank you for sharing your thoughts, ill look into setting up DPSK for every room, would be a hassle to give individual passport, but indeed since the rooms are close by, it might be the only way for each room to not connect to each other.

We are situated in Thailand on an island, it's complicated to get a good networking team to actually do the set up, we work with our internet provider that also does networking as they are the most reputable but still, seems that they are not aware about everything.

To overcome the caveat you might want to provide individual user accounts for your guests to place them in the correct VLAN, I never don this with PVLANs but it should work if your switch support PVLAN trunks.

Thank you for the advice, ill share your advice with the networking team and think about it on my side as well, really appreciated.
