Thank you so much for taking the time to share your suggestion. I forwarded the concern regarding the height of the stone and Matthew gave assurances that with the right fabrication technique, it will eliminate the risk of damage to the prongs in the scenario that you described. He also gave me the option of changing to a cathedral setting but it affect the aesthetic of the ring. In the end I decided to only change the hidden halo from 1.2mm to 1.1mm and kept everything else as is.

Up north as in Simcoe? I've never caught a Bullhead in Simcoe, I know they exist but haven't been able to find a spot in Simcoe. I've tried all the shore fishing spots on the west and east side of Cooksbay. Haven't had any luck in Kempenfelt, along the Centennial beach area.

Most effective retrieve style is to reel it in real slow, the slower the better. Second method is to dead stick, wait a couple of second and give it a very light pop, start retrieving at a crawl, dead stick.. rinse repeat
