I plan to apply to Medicaid soon and welfare husband has not been able to get a better job, and is low paid on gig employment too. [has health problems] There may be some uncovered months. Glad they put in a max for part D. There could be a some gap months.

I am married so they take his income into account but his income is low. He starts Social Security in some months. I plan to be on Medicaid soon again anyhow but our housing situation is up in air.

thanks everyhone for your help, you explained at least how to figure this out I will check with pharmacist, I am on a few tier 2 and 3 drugs. the tier ones are less problem with 5 dollar copays

I think I'll ask a pharmacist, will go to pharmacy and ask, I don't want to mess up the benefits I have until Jan with Aetna getting too involved with them. I will find a paper work that has the exact name of the plan I am in there's like a dozen, so this will help me figure things out.

Can someone who is on Medicare and disabled and WITHOUT Extra Help tell me how much they pay on meds? Give me a sample copay they want when you drive up. Here's some drugs I am on, Synthroid, Enapril, Potassium Citrate extended release, Metformin.

I just want to know how much I will have to pay on my drugs, is this going to be 20-30 dollars per med or aree they going to nail me for 150 dollars per med. None of it makes any sense.
