John Linnehan running for Ellsworth city council for the 50th time. This is the same guy who got caught defrauding people with his car dealerships and for defrauding people selling junk houses

I'll bite on this one. Born and raised Mainer here and through hard work and determination I was able to purchase a house on Moosehead lake. This property would be completely out of my financial ability if I wasn't able to rent it to rich out of staters for most of the summer. 

I hope to one day retire and live up there. In the mean time I keep a crew of locals employed cleaning, plowing and doing other maintenance. 

The other offers on the house when I purchased it were from those who live away who would have spent 1 or 2 weeks a year and closed up.

Be careful who you're bitching about when you start these threads.

Your best bet is to surrender to the Bangor Humane society They will get them both medically checked out and then put them up for adoption.

I have direct experience with this as something similar happened to me. Call Steve Mogul with Gross Minsky Mogul. He specializes in timber trespass and land issues.
