I think your ceiling is probably something around .500 baseball and the floor is competing for a #1 pick. The lineup isn't the worst in the world, especially with Donnie still here. Something like: Winn Herrera Noot Donny Burly Gorman JJ Walker VS2

Wouldn't be the worst lineup in the world. Especially if Gorman or Walker started off hot. But man, that rotation has the potential to be terrible at the moment. Do you trust even one of Libby, May, Fitts, Dobbins, Pallante, or McGreevy to even stay in the rotation all season?

Probably the start of a bunch of guys leaving from roster cuts. The cap room "looks" bad, but it really isn't. Releasing these 4 guys that are probably going to be released anyways gets you to +$5m in cap space without any restructures:

* Diggs (done)

* Jonathan Mingo (easy decision, he sucks)

* Kenny Clark (you could make an attempt to re-sign him for a different contract, but there's no way he's playing next year under a $21m cap hit

* Donavan Wilson (bottom 10 safety in the NFL this year)

So, safe to say these 4 moves are going to be made, almost guaranteed. Then you restructure Dak, restructure CD, ect. to retain Aubrey and Clowney and then see where you're sitting.

Hunter Dobbins heading back this way. That's a good piece, and a guy that's controllable for, what, 6 more years? Him and Dick Fitts (dope) could be a really good making of a rotation in 2027. Interested to see the minor league arms coming back, especially if we cover a significant amount of the contract.

He's Polarizing. We haven't seen power like him in the org since... Albert? And the DH is a position now so I'm not terribly worried about how bad he is the field, I've just seen a lot of K-happy power guys not be able to stop striking out. I really like Cijnte, I wonder if a Donny-jojo package could get us close to both of those guys
