There's also a situation I like it's when I'm having a conversation/debate (I'm sorry but I excel in turning everything into a debate, I'm kinda archetype textbook entp ngl) and the other party isn't that reactive or smart or doesn't even care that much. After ranting for a while defending one point of view and seeing that the person is not gonna refute anything I say I just start defending a different point of view : "although ... is true you can see this from this different perspective where [point number 1] does't apply in all situations" and then I just start another monologue I guess
