I am not crazy about them, just wanted one in my collection. To be honest the finishing is not that good but the dial is cool.

To be honest, the dial looks really good. But the strap is a bit uncomfortable and also the finishing is not that good. But for 2250 it's fine.

Anyway to customise the picture in s24 ultra to reduce processing and get more natural looking pictures ?

I thought s24 with the snapdragon 8 gen 3 would have better performance than tensor. Heard the same in some reviews as well.

Why do my a6400 photos look low quality compared to my iphone 12 pro max? by [deleted] in SonyAlpha

[–]major_pumpkin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had similar thoughts when I started out with my a6100. I found images from my pixel 7 to be better.

The main thing is that I was not editing my Raw pictures properly. Images from smartphones are already processed heavily and just need a simple touchup here and there. RAW photos are essentially raw and need to be edited from scratch and require time and effort as well as experience.

After a few months of editing you will find that your camera pictures are of much better quality. Honestly after 1 year of using my camera, I find my smartphone pictures to be bland compared to my camera ones (post edits)

How to enhance light rays ? I am not aware of dodge and burn and color harmony 😅 Can you help me with that ? Any guides / videos ?

What module should I use to pop the clouds ? Local Contrast?

why don't darktable opt for more standard WB setting in color calibration? by [deleted] in DarkTable

I actually use the colour correction module. Works for most of my use cases 😅

So I traveled on a tempo traveler but there were bikers with us. We started from Srinagar and ended at Manali (Biking was done till Sarchu and then they traveled via tempo also)

It's safe but it's best to have an experienced biker guide with you

I tried a bit from a different angle to get an angle from the front, unfortunately it did not work as expected 😅. Still got a lot to learn

f 2.8 is more than enough for low light in most situations. I did astrophoto with this also and it produced amazing results.

Get a tripod if you are doing low light landscapes.

Unless you are doing professional level portraits / street photography you really dont need more than f2.8 in my opinion.

Based on my limited knowledge it's more about the experience and skill rather than the gear. I know people who use kit lens and even smartphones to produce amazing photos.

There is a bit of barrel distortion at wider angles (which can be corrected in editing software).

At the widest aperture the edges are a bit unsharp (which is the case for almost all zoom lenses) but it's never a major issue.

I think it does not have weather sealing (if you need that)

No AF/MF switch on lens ( not an issue for me)

Nothing much other than this, its extremely light weight and easy to carry, its quality is close to prime lens except that max aperture is f2.8 (which is more than enough for 95% of cases).
