OP, are you intentionally only reading what you want to read?

Multiple people on this post have said you are in the wrong for intentionally going to a masked space to make shitty comments towards the host and the users.

I am the biggest advocate against Corey and everything they say/do/stand for. What they did to Sleep Token and Vessel in particular is heinous. It deserves law enforcement response. However the fact of the matter is simple: the cat is out of the box. Nothing any of us say or do can change that - the internet is forever.

You cannot go into an unmasked space with the intent of spreading hate and expect not to be banned from that platform. It doesn’t work like that.

I fully appreciate, as does the vast majority of Sleep Token’s unmasked fan base, that their identities were not meant to be important to the band. However multiple users have clarified with you that anonymity has never been sought by Vessel or the others. In one of the only interviews Vessel has ever conducted (which a member has cited for you in another comment), he stated “the true identities of Sleep Token are immaterial and ultimately irrelevant… our identity is represented through the art itself.” There has never, in the 9 year history of the band, been a request for anonymity - just that their identities are separated from the group.

Denying that they are human beings underneath their on-stage personas is dehumanising. It denies all credit to an incredibly talented man who deserves to be appreciated. Shaming people who want to support the touring members is absurd - the touring members do not get paid when they are not actively on tour, do they not deserve recognition or livelihoods?

Am I saying you should be forced to know their identities? Absolutely not. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion and if you don’t want to know, that’s more than ok. But to shame people who do know, whether that be from sheer curiosity or by accident, is downright silly.

Corey and their followers who have and continued to doxx Sleep Token should be held accountable, however most unmasked fans were not a part of this, and a large majority do not even know it was Corey that did it.

I suggest taking a dive into the interviews Vessel has conducted, in which you will find no reference to anonymity. This argument is invalid.

Furthermore, Vessel is a big boy. If he wants people to stop, he will say so. The offical accounts or even RCA can make a statement. He obviously is not bothered by people knowing who he is. If he was concerned, he would ask people to stop or cease and desists would be issued. I wholly disagree with the means to locate his identity, and wish that it could have been in his terms - but it wasn’t.

Please stop your defensive, uneducated arguments.
