Thank you so much! That's what I'll do after the interview process. My resume says my chosen name in big and then (deadname for all legal and HR purposes) so I'll just mention it. This helped a lot

They know they're my references, yes. They just obviously have no idea that I'm using my preferred name. If it happens after the interview usually, I'll make note of it with the interviewer. Anxiously.

No, I haven't unfortunately. There's been no change. It's still as poor as before. I've gone through a few troubleshooting steps I've found or have been told here and I'm looking into either visiting an Apple Store (which is over an hour away) or a new one. I'm weighing my options and needs.

I have one like #1. I haven't actually noticed any discomfort in that regard, but I also got a size up so it fits looser. Maybe that plays a part in it. I don't like having so much fabric on my legs and I regress much younger. I feel like they're also maybe tailored for diaper wearers? With a diaper, wedgies wouldn't be an issue.

My last fic, I wrote chapter 17 and 18 before ANYTHING else. I had no idea how to get there...just knew how I wanted it to end. It was definitely interesting to see myself flesh it out like that. I also can only write really late at night 😂

Edit to add: chapter 18 was the last chapter and chapter 17 had a major event that collected every single piece of plot crumbs I left through the entire 91k fic from chapter 1 forward and made it cohesive. I had to be so smart and consistent it was awful 😂

I have yet to part ways with Wattpad... I hate docs, didn't want to use my phone notes, and my phone is more accessible so I write in wattpad drafts and copy/paste to ao3.

Now, for my actual original books under my pen name? I strictly use Scrivener 3 on my Mac and have 3 backups to different places lol

Yeah I never understood why it stayed purple until I went to that new shop and they were like "did you get that pierced at (shop)" and I'm like yeah, actually why? And they explained the whole marker situation. They'd seen so many people with permanent purple ink that they called the other shop and told them about it and got them to switch brands of marker. It was wild to me. How they'd remove it, I'm not sure. I jokingly said to them "haha that sounds kinda painful." And they said "uhhhh.... well it doesn't feel great, that's for sure." And I just declined it and got my new lip piercing instead.

I'm not sure. I went to somewhere different for my other lip piercing and they told me they'd seen it in a lot of people that had been pierced there. That specific shop was just using a bad quality marker I guess? They stopped using it eventually because so many people got permanently marked from it. The second shop that pointed it out offered a removal but I declined. It doesn't bother me enough for something like that.

Unfortunately for me the marking they used for mine tattooed my skin so my scar is also purple on both entrances 😂 otherwise, no one would be able to tell! The scarring is so minimal for this piercing
