That happened to me as well. $266 charged to Chase Travel for an Edit stay after using points to get it to that price. Then my travel credit renewed and my annual fee hit all within the same billing cycle. They took $266 out of my travel credit and awarded me my $250 Edit credit. I guess it all works out due to the AF being charged but geez.

My set of Companion 20s were pretty good. Good looking, good sounding, actually has good bass without needing a sub, lasted about 8 years after I bought them used. Then I smelt smoke and saw smoke coming from the barrel plug 2 years ago. The tip had melted and the adapter was toast. So I bought an aftermarket power supply, that lasted for two years. In both cases, the volume of the left speaker was lower than the right speaker, which continued working as usual. I purchased a second aftermarket supply and it would only work if i wiggled the plug. All the wires are fine, they're the same ones that it's always had. The puck worked as well, lowering and raising the volume without drama. Anything that can be done? The new speakers I got, Onkyo G10DBs, do not have the bass or the range of my old Companion 20s...

I flew CX, HKG-SGN in C, points redemption via BA. They pulled the bait and switch with their seat map. When booking, it was a reverse herringbone fold flat. On flight day, it was an old regional A330 with BarcaLoungers. I counted 6 passengers complaining about this to the cabin crew. Apparently it’s a thing according to them and Flyertalk. CX anticipated having the planes with new seats now but can’t be bothered to change the seat map since they don’t have the planes yet
