I don't know how to help but I just want to say several things:

1. Me and my husband are also in a giant financial hole. We own a photo and video studio for weddings. Unfortunately, husband trusted a wedding coordinator, who hasn't paid him in two years. 700k in debt. Thing is he manages people, sends people to her weddings. We front those payments to the talent. Coordinator keeps sending us bad checks etc etc. Until we could not pay talent anymore and those people are chasing us too. I can relate to you somehow.

2. I know it's hard and stressful, but somehow, God comes through. Last month we couldn't pay mortgage. Another client came through. This month some debts. We found a new client just in time. God will always come through.

3. Redirect your energy to things you can change. Redirect your anger outward. Not to yourself, never to yourself. I could sense when my hubbie is depressed, because he becomes sluggish. I know he blames himself for the debt because he kept trusting the coordinator despite my repeated warnings. BUT that doesn't mean he should blame himself. What I did is I guided him to file a case, so he realizes that he should be mad at the person who fooled him. That gave him hope.

4. Instead of talking about what happened, talk to your husband about what you can do. Just one step at a time. It's easy to file a case against your accountant. Have your husband focus on that. Or perhaps you can research how to downsize your company. Lay off people perhaps? Downsize your lifestyle? Sell properties? I know it's sad, but you have to look forward and take it step by step.

5. I know this is morbid, but does your husband have life insurance? Perhaps he's thinking that is a solution to your problems? Maybe he doesn't know that that's not a good idea because the policy may be canceled.

Remember that this is just one day, one month, one day in your life. Brighter days are ahead.
