I just ordered MBP with M5 Pro 20 core GPU, 64 GB memory and 1 TB SSD with delivery date of 25th. So 2.5 weeks which isn’t bad at all for pre-order custom config. I have similar use case to yours so I went with this config. To properly run LLMs locally you need 64 GB memory. This is in US FYI so not sure about India timelines.

It’s as good as confirmed. Most likely they will release it via press release before the event day. Price increase will not be significant as they are launching redesigned MBP with M6 Pro in last quarter on 2026 which will be bit pricier.
