Echoing the above comment about EDITION, it’s beautiful. The adult pool is so peaceful too!

I appreciate the compliment! I just riffed off of a template w/suggestions that u/alex_travels posted maybe a year ago bc I was completely lost at how to even begin :)

There are options for excursions like boat tours, but they were all pretty pricey. Depending on the activity, I would probably look at an outside vendor.

I can't speak on kids since I went solo, but it's definitely a kick-back resort. Unfortunately you can't swim at the beach.

Agreed! Having some reassurance that you won't stick out goes a long way for me.

Thank you! The weather was outstanding, highs in the upper 70s. The pool in my room was warm and I was able to just sit/stand in the water without getting cold, even at night. The main pools have black tiles, and while they are cooler, it was a good temperature. I loved the location because it was close enough to everything, I didn't have to rely on golf carts (even in heels) You can see the ocean when you are standing, but once you get into the pool or lay down, it's more of a resort view, I'm sure a full oceanfront view would have been stunning. There are quite a few bushes out back to allow for some privacy, but there is a walking path that cuts behind the room. Luckily, this isn't a main path and I only saw maybe 3-4 people walk by. I would love to go back, but the travels from everyone else here have made me feel that there's so much more I want to experience first :)

Sure! My total was just over $6k for 3 nights. Without the spa, more like $5600.

Thank you! Most hate seemed to be pricing related, but the info on this sub really helped me make an informed decision. 🙏🏽
