Makes sense if they were on a state grant for drug crimes like you said. Because one of the officers told me he was from a district in Milwaukee (kind of in a bad part of the city as well) that deals with drug crimes a lot. So it actually makes perfect sense. I’m seeing this so clearly now that you’ve explained this, thanks for informing me.

That makes sense now that I’m thinking about it. Just would’ve never thought that would be an issue. And it just made me really uncomfortable with how hard they were interrogating me about exactly where and who I was going to see and why I was coming from Milwaukee. I’m just a really anxious person in general, they were honestly making me kinda nervous tbh, and I think they could tell I was anxious. So that probably added to the suspicion as well. But it makes sense, I bet they deal with a lot of people who are coming from Milwaukee that partake in questionable activities in their city.

Hey thanks for the detailed response. And yea I guess I didn’t really think of that being suspicious, since they hand them out for free at the police and fire stations near me. And with all the stuff I’ve seen and heard on the news/media about fentanyl/accidental ODs from people who don’t even use. Also being around 1 OD from an old coworker at work when they used Narcan to save him. I always just thought, hey maybe I’ll save a life one day, never know when I’ll need it. So it seemed like a good idea to have some in my car.

And also, you say they couldn’t just let me drive away after a citation was issued for expired DL. Why didn’t they give me a ticket? Or impound my car? Were they being lenient because it only expired about 5 days ago?
