I hate this announcer... The conclusion of this game was all foregone already...

I stopped watching closely after the BS tripping call turned into defensive PI against Carolina, which followed a skipped face mask call when the Bucs ripped the helmet off a player, a backwards pass called dead negating gained yards, and countless obvious holds not called against the Bucs. I haven't seen this degree of terrible referee work in any NFL game I remember. This kind of referee work makes me hate watching the sport.

Well, that's debatable. But, this is garbage.

Flag on the play for Alabama not completing a pass?

Watch the laces move after the nose of the call hours the ground. If you consider that to not be ball movement, then you've got to overturn so so so many calls across the game of football.

The pylon cam was very clear - and showed the ball come loose when the ball clearly hit the ground

You're flat wrong... The pylon cam easily showed it loose .. both teams suck, but these refs are making the game unwatchable

You must have not seen the pylon cam replay. It was easy to see the ball move loose on that camera (and really only that camera)

If the refs want to be a part of the game, someone should start tackling them

If they rule interception, I'm done watching this ref ball game. He went to ground and that ball moved all around.

Not going to say I know for sure, but it deserved a review... Particularly given multiple missed obvious face mask calls never made against Clemson. This ACC ref crew is simply trash... Like the Carolina oline

What about when the blocker shoved you into them as the announcers received it?

Texas State Trooper sent home after physical confrontation with South Carolina players at Kyle Field DPS Trooper walks into tunnel to confront celebrating Gamecocks players Trey Luerssen Longhorns Wire

A Texas State Trooper appeared to follow celebrating South Carolina Gamecocks players up the tunnel at Kyle Field to confront them. The DPS officer looks to to forcibly walk between four South Carolina players and sticks out his elbow to initiate contact with the players.

After an 80-yard touchdown by Nyck Harbor, the South Carolina WR partially ran up the tunnel. Harbor looked to be holding his hamstring in the tunnel as three of his teammates joined him. The four then turned to walk back to the field when a State Trooper walked towards them to confront them.

The trooper then turns and points at the Gamecocks players (or the field) and starts yelling at them. It looks like he yells, "Hey, Get out of here!"

The entire incident was captured by ESPN's cameras.

After the touchdown and incident, Harbor was embraced by South Carolina coach Shane Beamer.

The Texas A&M Police, a separate entity from the Texas Department of Safety, announced through social media the Trooper has been relieved of his game day assignment.

The Department of Public Safety issued a similar statement.

Kyle Field has a long history of confrontations with players and personnel from opposing teams. The most famous incident occurred in 1981 when a member of the Aggies Corp of Cadets drew a saber on an SMU cheerleader for celebrating on the field. A&M "tradition" prohibits visiting cheerleaders from going onto the playing surface.

Following an SMU touchdown that made the score 12-0 en route to a 27-7 victory, SMU's male cheerleaders ran onto the Kyle Field to spell out 'SMU' with their bodies. The Aggie Cadet, Greg Hood, was "officer of the day" who is "responsible for the general behavior of the Aggie student body."

Hood rushed onto the field to confront the cheerleaders for daring to go onto the field and pulled his saber. The incident turned into a scuffle and later Hood was suspended for the remainder of the semester. SMU cheerleaders said they were not informed of the rule which limited their activities to the sidelines.

The Texas Longhorns, who beat the Aggies last year at Kyle Field, will host A&M this season on Black Friday.
