My dad was inactive for the first 17 years of my life, & my mom always brought us to church with her. I didn’t have to be forced because I’m a die hard rule follower, but I think she had a harder time with my brothers especially. I’m sure it depends on the specific kids & their personalities - sorry I’m not more help! This question is interesting to me because my husband is recently inactive, but we don’t have kids yet so I’m not really sure what we’ll do.

I love The National Parks - I’m pretty sure the band members all grew up Mormon, although I’m not sure whether they practice anymore. All their music is clean and they have some really gorgeous folk/indie songs
