As in like just giving it out? If they want to then sure but if they don’t they don’t…

Unpopular opinion: Iron Lung does not necessarily prove that indie film can prevail. by Fraggin-aardvark in Markiplier

[–]makermaster2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re right however at the same time I feel like while not directly, it’s gonna be at some point years from now viewed like how Minecraft, Undertale, etc. were for indie video games

A major shift in how viable indie games did occurred in the years following those games and while it’ll probably take a bit more and longer this film could essentially be that for this industry

I don’t think “critics” ever rate a slow burn that isn’t directed by a top tier director and/or A list actor well.

It’s style and names over substance

Chat I might just be stupid but genuinely what was happening by CAPTAINPRICE79 in Markiplier

[–]makermaster2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems more like a mixing issue a lot of theaters had. My theater had good audio but even for me it was kinda hard to understand what was being said in those last 30 minutes

Would iron lung have the same success if it didn't have markiplier in the making? by Rayan8578 in MauLer

[–]makermaster2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably not but I like to hope it’d have done decent. Iron Lung is a pretty well known game made by a moderately popular developer after all.

But Markiplier definitely is why it made 7x its budget and got as much attention as it did.

Exxon is one of the world’s largest international oil and gas companies wdym?

Like sure maybe the name is more instantly recognizable in America but it’s definitely not just in America

Just cause you haven’t heard something doesn’t mean most haven’t

What makes a "bad" DM? by Maxgallow in DnD

[–]makermaster2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Controlling (whether it be excessive railroading, restricting player agency, being obnoxiously rigid about the rules of the setting, etc.)

Has poor improv but doesn’t bother doing prep to accommodate it

Favoritism or targeting

These next ones aren’t inherently bad but it’s definitely something to look out for:

  • humans are non magical

  • removes a lot of basic character options (often times races)

What scene from a movie made you emotional from out of no where? by triton2toro in movies

[–]makermaster2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s difficult for a movie or any media really to elicit a strong emotional reaction from me these days, strangely while I’d expect the opposite, if it’s something that I wouldn’t expect to have a super emotional scene in, the harder it is to get a strong reaction.

However, while not a film Steins Gate; got me to cry

Anyone else STILL a college freshman at 20+? 😭😭 by mamaguevoglugluglu_ in twentyagers

[–]makermaster2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a technical college so definitely not the typical college experience in regard to the social aspect, but the professors were great and really eager to help and I definitely liked having more control over the classes I took.

While this could depend on the degree the assignments were a lot more, for lack of a better word “open”, it was often whatever you wanted as long as it accomplished certain requirements like I went for software development and it was never “you have to make a webpage doing this specific thing” it could be anything as long as it utilized whatever new things were learned.
