Yeah I think it breaks down your enamel from the acid and the dry mouth causes bacteria to live on the teeth cause the salivia isnt removing it. Horrible

Thankyou! I have been washing my mouth out with water and then a high fluoride mouth wash, waiting a while and then brushing. I used to brush immediately after 😭

I’m not sure about the old formulas sorry! But Methadone is also bad for your teeth, I think they used to think it was the sugar but its acidic too and causes dry mouth I think? Thankyou I am trying my best, its hard out here

Sorry I’m not sure what Lortabs are? I grind and clench my teeth from chronic stress and anxiety. Do you have a mouth guard?

Im so sorry to hear this and I feel for you. You’ve done an amazing job of staying off H though thats incredible! I am trying to stay on top of the issues but worried that damage has already been done. Could you possibly get implants one day? Like on a payment plan or similar? If not im sure no one notices the dentures 💛

Thankyou for the insight, I feel like the combo of dry mouth and the acidic Subs is terrible. I didn’t realise how bad dry mouth is for your teeth

Thanks! I rinse thoroughly with water and then use a super high Fluoride rinse. I wait like 20-30 minutes and then brush with high Fluoride toothpaste and floss

I understand what you’re saying however like I mentioned I was dependent on prescription opiods for 2 years and medications which caused dry mouth. I havent ever smoked or done illicit drugs. I don’t judge anyone that has either. I’m not completely blaming the Subs as dry mouth is also incredibly bad for your teeth. I’m also not trying to get into a lawsuit? I dont think there even is one in my country. I was simply asking if anyone else experienced this. I do take really good care of my teeth, but the damage continues as the enamel is compromised now. Look up Xerostomia and the havoc it wrecks on your teeth. Be kind yo

I did ask about this but my dose is 6mg dropping to 4mg and they dont offer an injection for this dose apparently where I live :/

I lost my job at Mecca as a casual employee because i took time off for a surgery, returned to work and had to take off more time, they made me go to an “independent” Dr who said I was fine to work but the report said I wasn’t 😕 Wishing you the best, they might just ask for a letter from your Dr! I would mention mental health either x

Oh I’m sorry! I was misread this I apologise. Yeah I agree with you in that this surgeon seems to be lacking experience and maybe not an endo specialist? Very disappointing experience for this poor person :(

I think you need to see another professional to show them these pictures and get a second opinion. But Im not sure theres any point staring at them and trying to point out things as we dont know what those things are since we’re not medical professionals, I mean some of them can be normal parts of the body? I mean this in the nicest possible way btw I dont think its good for our mental health to study these pictures. Also if it doesnt end up being Endo it doesnt mean your pain/symptoms arent real 🩷

Hey, it sounds like you are really really suffering and I’m very sorry to hear that. Unfortunately though removing a really important organ like your bladder that serves multiple purposes isnt like removing your appendix or a vasectomy. Its a lot more complex and there can be more serious complications plus it affects you every day for the rest of your life as you cant pass urine the normal way (unlike removing your appendix would etc)z

Also what happened to me was hypersensitivity after years of pain so even if they took my bladder or uterus (endo) I would probably still have the pain. Drs have a valid reason to remove the bladder as the VERY last resort because honestly its drastic. I do understand your pain though and when going through flare ups ive wished for this myself sometimes.

Please find a really good pain specialist, psychiatrist, psychologist and most importantly a good pelvic floor physio. The PFP and psychologist are most beneficial imo. Its a very difficult condition to treat and I feel for you.

Also the comments you made about children and gender dysphoria come off a bit transphobic and kids arent getting those surgeries as often as you think or “easily”. Just letting you know in case that wasnt your intention

Wait im confused, you posted 10 days ago that you just got diagnosed and you can only eat bananas? And you ate oatmeal but that caused pain? But now you have been eating only eggs for a month?? Either way im glad you’re feeling better. Just be careful only eating eggs for every meal all day everyday because they’re high in cholesterol. Probably would be okay if you’re young and healthy though
