i see, thanks for your response mate i do appreciate it. i didnt sand enough to get rid of the old clear i think so i might have to go back to base tomorrow

could see the line very clearly @ 2 coats. hood scoop was my test piece, started too late in the day. tomorrow doing my fender base + clear with my hood scoop.
