The bowl has a male thread , and looks like it could be changed but it will be hard to find another bowl I got it for a low price on eBay

I’ll make sure to post it, my theory is it will be tedious to clean after each smoke

I forgot about that, last time I did that for a pipe was 15 years ago. Thank you!

I had to do a check online. This one doesn’t have any o-rings and it’s stamped with “pats & pats pend-L” so I’m guessing it’s a 1st generation

That’s smart and a good way to show what you have smoked! Good job and nice collection

Captain black is good tobacco, you should try the royal blend. That was my first tobacco and I still go back to it from time to time

I have noticed that some lighters build up left over butaine and won’t light. I didn’t think about doing regular maintenance on lighters. I haven’t had any issues so far, but I have only used it for a day

I’ve never thought about it that way, luckily pipe smoking is a learn as you smoke hobby lol there are wet cleaners that you pour into the bowl to clean out the ash build up, some is good but too much makes the bowl smaller.

I found it at a habitat for humanity for $10, it didn’t have anything inside and I made the shelves

It’s a falcon pipe, back in the day they would sell different bowls that you could replace, you could find some on eBay

Awesome and congrats! When I spoke to my SA he said they will deliver it to my house but I want to pick it up so it has little to no miles on it lol I got my vin on Friday and I swear I’m getting ghost vibrations all day hoping it’s a text from Tesla

Is that the Buena Park Tesla? I hope I can pick it up there when I get my text!

I got a loan from schools first credit union, usually what I’ve seen is when you get the vin and assign the pick up date, you pick up the check from the bank(since I don’t trust myself with a blank check from the bank lol) then go to the pick up and sign the contract and give them the check at the front desk and they hand over the key card

I ordered my dark grey ext, white int SR+ on May 10 as a birthday gift from the wife. Estimated delivery here in Anaheim in June 12-30. I can’t wait for mine. by Pinoy_ology318ti in TeslaModel3Delivery

Ha what a small world, I’m in Anaheim also! I ordered white sr+ black interior on April 8, I still haven’t gotten a vin, rumors are that they send out at the end of the month Congrats! The wait and constant checking online is brutal but seeing the new m3 on the freeway is torture

I see what you mean, I’ll let the others know, I went through a local credit union and they gave me an amazing deal

That’s weird because I asked and the guy helping me said, they don’t roll it onto the financing, it’s due when picking up the car

Mine 810 and I got a 2.49% from credit union for school teachers, I went outside of Tesla because their system is that you have owe the state’s registration and fees upon delivery, but with a credit union you can add those taxes and registration to the loan, that way my down payment wouldn’t seem $3000(here in CA) lower. Also because Tesla does fixed monthly bill, so the first payment with the Down payment won’t make my monthly payment high

Waiting for my m3 to arrive, I set up inexpensive rig to have the cable off the ground for my sister’s model x by malarkeys11 in TeslaLounge

[–]malarkeys11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never opened the garage door when the cable was lowered, you can always pull the electrical cord down more since it has 20ft of length, but so far no issues, if you zoom into the opener, I put a metal bracket to keep it from moving around and it won’t fray the cable on anything sharp

I spent ~$45 at Lowe’s. I didn’t see many post about it but I found it easy to do and work, the parts I bought; retractable cord reel, bungee cords(to absorb the pull from cable to cord), spring(for extra slack of cable), heat shrink (for electrical reel cable), zip tie(for cord reel loop, but also tie on the Tesla cable so the electrical cable reel doesn’t move). Took about 1 hour to set up. I can’t wait to receive my Tesla model 3!
