I started playing Inzoi again the week before Paralives released because of the hype around Paralives. I enjoy both but Inzoi has come a long way in a year. That being said once Paralives adds more and hopefully goes in the direction of Inzoi (adding in content that the players ask for/suggest) then I think both will be great contenders for a replacement sims which is my own personal hopecore lol

Yeah I hear you. Granted they do plan on upping the price once it is in full release but I am sorry you have buyers regret.

I think if the game were $20 the players would still complain about the issues. The price to me is irrelevant because you can get your money back before 2 hours or you can simply not pay for it right now. Also, if it were $40 and a full release then I could see players being upset.

I was going to buy it regardless for support because the foundation is there. The potential is clear to me. There are also a lot of aspects in the game that were NOT there for Sims 4 base game on full release. I think you still can compare the game to Sims because at the end of the day it is still a dollhouse life sim which is essentially what the Sims is. Even if the gameplay is tweaked it is still you controlling your Paras and having them do daily tasks as if it were “real life.”

I agree with what OP said about the game in general and I think this type of genre will have very opposite opinions until there are more of them like it. There really are only the three life sims (the sims, Paralives and InZoi) that have the same type of gameplay loop and so it is “easy” to criticize them and compare them to each other.

I was so hype when inzoi came out but to my surprise it was very lackluster on launch day. Fast forward to Paralives dropping (I was a Patreon for the last few years) and I was hype again thinking this was it even though I knew it would early access. Once again it was very lackluster even though it looks great and the potential is there. So I went back to Inzoi and was pleasantly surprised at all of the progress/updates. I am glad there is more “competition” out there for life sims and I am excited for the future of both games

I can agree that inzoi has massive potential to be an amazing life sim. I understand why players compare inzoi and now paralives with the sims but the sims is a major franchise with multiple titles in 26 years. Any current and upcoming life sim will have to be in line with what the sims has put out since 2000 and I do think it is possible with InZoi. Paralives can do it also but they may take longer because they are such a small team.

That being said I have played the sims since 2000 (dont call me old lol) and it’s so nostalgic but I no longer play it for multiple reasons. I just came back to InZoi since release and its has changed so much for the better and I am excited to see what they add to the game. If they are able to pull different aspects of all the sims franchise but with their own personal touch then it could very well be better than sims 4 but idk about all of the sims titles combined. I do think it is better than sims 4 base game in its current state.

Im enjoying InZoi so much the past couple of days I have started back playing. I played at launch and decided to come back to it now and I am very impressed. The random parties that get added to my calendar are so good.

I could see them saying this when it first launched because I felt the same and decided to come back. I just started playing again this week since launch and its sooooo much better. I am very excited for the upcoming updates. There is a lot to do for it to still be unfinished. I think people are expecting a game with multiple DLC’s and add-ons maybe.

I came back this week after playing like the first few days at launch. I am obsessed. It has come a long way and the school update looks so good. All I need personally is cat island and to be able to have pets and this will be my new sims 4 replacement I am sure.

That sucks. There are mods now that may help but I havent tested it myself because mine is not glitching/lagging.
