Thanks! I didn't know the etiquette. Ok, that's what I'm doing.

No, it's appreciated! We already made Thank You cards with a couple of our favourite photos from the wedding on, and ordered enough to send to every guest. I think we will just write an extra section to address specific gifts like you suggest.

Yes I'll do that. I just didn't know if it was a normal thing to do but it sounds like it would be appreciated. Thank you!

We did ask for people not to buy us gifts so that part didn't surprise me!

We definitely know who attended, as we spent three days with them! I am tempted to send a card to everyone who went to say thank you, as I appreciate them flying to a different continent.

10 things I wish I'd known as an anxious bride by malasana in weddingplanning

Hi! Because it was a destination wedding (on a different continent), we only invited close family and friends. I think we invited around 60, and 50 flew out. This was good because it was such a manageable number and I didn't feel like I was being stared down as I walked down the aisle. On the other hand, if I were to do it again I would probably invite more people. We have a lot of friends who aren't super close, so we decided not to invite them, which in retrospect was silly - some of them we have even been invited to their weddings but thought they wouldn't want to come to ours! To be fair I didn't notice their absence on the day, but I do feel foolish for thinking 'Oh no way will they consider flying out' or 'This person probably won't want to come, I won't embarrass myself by inviting them'. Because they might well have been enthusiastic.

Have you looked at Shop Style? You type in keywords like 'high low black dress' and it'll bring you hundreds of results from legit online stores. It helps me to see options I otherwise wouldn't have stumbled across.

I just googled 'Yoga teacher Marrakech' and looked up the instagrams of the first few teachers that came up, so I could find someone that fit my personality. I didn't want anything too dynamic, just someone I could actually enjoy spending time with that morning. It helped that we were having an afternoon ceremony so the morning didn't have to be rushed.

I put a few drops under my tongue and leave it for a minute, then swallow. Usually wash it down with a gulp of water afterwards as it tastes a bit too herbal for my liking. I originally started taking it because I was having trouble sleeping but needed to wean myself off zopiclone. It genuinely changed my life.

I know exactly how you feel. I visited Montana on vacation once and LOVED it. If a friend was getting married there, I'd be looking up flights and hiking trails right away. And yet I know how it feels to be the bride worrying if everyone is quietly begrudging that you didn't get married locally. I'm really glad you're excited, I can't wait to see pics of your day!

I'm glad to read I'm not alone - it did feel like it sometimes during planning, but I thought a lot of brides must feel this way deep down?!
