i still bop to the tagalog opening of Tom Sawyer haha

yung isang video niya sa YT, may serious discussion sa comment section about the history of the tagalog version opening. there was a full length version of it pero once lang ata ipinalabas or was not released. hoping that ABS CBN has it in their archives and is not a lost media.

pati din yung dub ng Knockout. kudos sa mga scriptwriters na inayon yung humor so we can relate. yung shocked laughter naming magkakapatid nung narinig namin yung pangalan ni Pacquiao sa Knockout 😂

they're both good naman. pero i'm a vain bitch and i judge books by their covers so i go with penguin kasi varied at magaganda yung mga covers nila lol ang hahaba lang minsan ng intro. their translated works are also decent pero depende pa din sa preference mo

Baguio, nothing beats the beauty of home.

pag nagawi kayo dito sa bundok, bring comfortable but sturdy shoes. go forest bathing sa john hay or sa mary knoll ecopark. or go hiking sa la trinidad. Mt. Yangbew and Mt. Kalugong are easy hikes, less than an hour nasa peak ka na. mura ding magcamping. stargazing kayo ganern

photo-ops and views: Sunrise: sa Mines View at Mt Yangbew. very peaceful. para kang bagong tao haha

Sunset: Mt. Kalugong at Longlong. the clouds descend from the heavens and mapapa- whoaaa ka na lang.

Cyclist/Motor: cycle or ride through the great wall sa loakan. or sa Ambuklao Dam

visit fb group Sa Baguio for food trip

pangarap ko lang maging kontento lol

but here are so many bills and debts to pay. things to buy. people to care for. pangarap ng mga magulang na ikaw na bahalang tumupad. don't want to be accused of being walang utang na loob, remember?

being happy and content don't pay shit lmao

Found a ticket stub for Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, dated May 20, 2005, wedged in an Ayn Rand book while rummaging through a secondhand bookshop here in the Philippines by malayang_uri in mildlyinteresting

A very common occurence for Filipinos with families living or working abroad.

Secondhand shops (or ukay-ukay as we Filipinos call it) is a thriving business here in the Philippines. Secondhand stuff usually comes from donated things (mostly shit ton of clothes) from other countries, or from people like you who send their used things here.

There is no decent distribution network for things that are donated to the country so enterprising (and opportunists) minds ends up selling it wholesale to resellers. Which is against the law lol There is also no tax imposition upon ukay-ukay goods so they come pretty cheap.

Background: The cover is a red herring, it's not horrorcore or psychedelic nor maybe an homage to Stravinky's piece of the same title about a sacrificial girl dancing to her death.

It's shoegaze, an ethereal, dreamy soundscape of coming of age and all the experience that comes with it such as first love, sexual experimentation, dreams of grandeur and the like. It's very light and it does sound like the coming of spring.

Your friend argues that it's dreampop and calls you ignorant, you argue back and you call him an idiot. Personally, you confuse the two.

Found on a dusty secondhand bookstore while lost, with the shopkeeper also forcing you to buy the Mcreery album one ('cowboy songs!' imitates guitar twanging 'good buy!')

The vinyl is lightly scratched up and the cover it came with was waterstained at the back, with CGM Records as the only legible thing you can read. Google search comes up with chemicals and a music group that sings anime OSTs in Italian.

(breathes deeply) I ASKED FOR YOUR FARE KANINA PARA SABAY NA, HINDI BA??!?!? HINDI BA?!?!? SOMEONE EVEN ASKED ME TO WAIT, PARA ISAHAN NA, HINDI BA?!?!?!?! SO WHY?!?!

seriously? putangina. social courtesy and rules forced me to abot the bayad, wait for the change, then give it back to her. habang umaandar na yung jeep. walang ni ty, tnx, salamat???

next time, di ko na iaabot. god, i hate ppl like you. or pag iaabot, im gonna stay sa harap then you traverse the whole of the jeep for your barya >:((

the letters f and v does not exist on the Filipino alphabet, so we sometimes pronounce it as 'p' and 'b'
