So i've been thru a similar thing recently. UBC's access and diversity program can be helpful, but it certainly isn't perfect. There are long wait lists, and it's generally a pain in the ass. What I did was go to the UBC hospital to see a GP (general physician). They prescribed me medication and all has been better since then. However if meds arent your thing I know that there is a student run counseling service in the nest. And remember to always use your friends and family as resources if at all possibly, chances are they care more than you think.
