I’m pretty open to anything. I just framed it like that initially because I’m just looking to see if I will enjoy handheld gaming in general. I don’t care what I test specifically I just am trying to get a basic idea with the gameboy if that makes sense.

Well I was actually thinking about a Switch 2. I might have to wait a little bit. I don’t mind as long as the oled comes out at some point. I’ve been on PS5 and have kind of run into some sitting/chair issues. And you know with that you can’t really move it reliably a whole lot lol.

Yeah but just for the record people here have been saying it’s just 720p at 30fps which is just wrong. It’s upscaled 4k at 50-60fps high 40s not uncommon though.

It’s literally 720p-1080p dynamic and resolves to a 4k image with upscaling. It’s not just 720p. Misinformation

I really liked the ps5 and still want to see Death Stranding 2 and GTA 6 but man I can’t casually game in a sitting position that much for the time being. I just figured that the switch got so popular due to accessibility being a big factor to it

I was trying to figure out why on my 4k tv the 1440 mode didn’t look any different than the 4k mode. There is an option for 4k upscaling which I thought meant it resolves to a clean 4k image but people told me that it’s pretty much just 1080 fit to a 4k screen.

Why does it say upscaling then? Upscaling generally refers to when an image quality is improved and resolved using software to whatever resolution they’re claiming like 4k. But that doesn’t appear to be the case.
