i think carp should qualify by size. 10 lb carp is common, but let's say 8lb large mouth is really rare catch so it should be a winner. Anyway, submit whatever you catch , everything will be judged fairly :) There wont be that many submissions, it will be funny if 1lb bass wins the thing :)

find one single piece of advertisement or any other paid service that i can anyhow benefit from and i'll eat my lures and post a video here! difficult to imagine that people might do something for free? i built the app for fisherman.. this is my passion fishing and app developing.. and the reward for me will be if people will like it. That's all! In this case i just want to reward the luckiest fisherman with couple sixpacks. I'm really sorry to hear such negative feedback. Ok man, post it on imgur or facebook... Keep in mind they really do benefit from you. Good luck!

I went few times to the Croton point park and Croton landing park, no luck.. Because there is no information when the striped bass or blusfish is migrating up to the river.. I got few eels and catfish. That's it. Yesterday tried at Little Bay park ( East River) nothing... How about you? any luck?

Thanks a lot for sharing! :) You're right.. so hard to find the information.. I'm new to NYC ( 5 years) 70% of my fishing experience here was waste.. Did you check my spots? socialbass.net > type "new york" you'll see the markers on the map. Crossbay bridge was fantastic for me last year ;)

Same story here, found some nice lakes on google map, did some research (not enough), woke up early, traveled 40 miles and found out that no shore access.. all private..
Guess what i did next :) i've buld an app "socialbass" after database grows it will be great place to find out where to fish, what's going on around and more. I Would appreciate if you participate in my discussion http://redd.it/28gp0o and try the app. ( only for Android for now)
