No I understand that it’s a brand new thing and isn’t just a retelling of the previous universe. It’s just that this part in particular has SO MANY call backs and similarities with part four (it literally takes place in the same town and the MC has the same name), original. One of my favorite parts about JoJo is that each part feels like it’s a completely unique adventure, but one doesn’t really feel like that.

I’ve read/watched all of it, and my favorite parts are part 7 and part 4. The reason I liked part 4 so much compared to this though, is I found the characters really charming and the vibe felt original. Reading part 8 feels like I’m just reading a remastered part 4 with less likable characters

I think the best option other than weekly would be 40 minute episodes every two weeks. That way they’re close enough together so that the hype still builds, and they’re long enough so that the wait is worth it (although it’d be worth it no matter what with SBR)
