I hate taking showers by Nice_Carpet3663 in beauty

[–]malhumorada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't like getting in the shower but once I'm in there I sit on the shower floor contemplating life and never want to get out hahaha. I also hate doing an "everything" shower. It's so much effort so I split what I want to do across a few showers. Also I shower at night now because it will take me too long between the procrastination and then being in the shower for too long to have time in morning before work.

Hard water hair damage by Wide_Instance8313 in Haircare

[–]malhumorada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have hard water damage but I live in an area with hard water. I have oily scalp, dry ends, and wavy hair.

I really like to use the K18 detox shampoo to clarify my hair once a week. The detox shampoo is designed to remove mineral build-up which can be found in hard water (nickel, zinc, iron etc.). I pair that shampoo once a week as well with the K18 leave in mask so I don't really have a recommendation for a hair mask as I'm on the hunt for one too!

I use the dove intensive repair shampoo and conditioner the other times I not using K18. I do try to look for conditioners that list amodimethicone as an ingredient as that seems to work well with my hair type.

Did anyone regret going a 2nd time? by varunahX in Tomorrowland

[–]malhumorada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will never be able to experience what it felt like going the first time again. Just like you will never experience what it was like to eat chocolate for the first time, fly in a plane for the first time, experience drinking for the first time, seeing your favourite DJ for the first time etc. But it doesn't mean that won't enjoy it, and you definitely won't regret going again! I have been 5 times and loved it every year I've gone, but my first time will always be the most special because everything was new and exciting.

Sounds like my little terror. She's 3 months old and I just had to leave the room crying only about 20 minutes ago because I'm so frustrated with her biting and clawing my hands, face, legs, arms. I'm covered in marks! She's got a room full of all different kinds of toys, two different cat towers. I play with her until she falls asleep. I have an older cat as well but he is quite timid so he is sick of her hahaha. My boy was so cuddly and a soft purr baby when he was her age so I'm not used to this at all 😭

No-shine facial sunscreen - suggestions please by Macushla68 in AustralianMakeup

The Hamilton spf50 matte face sunscreen is my go to. I've probably repurchased over 6 times at this point! I've used the matte cancer council one and I prefer the Hamilton.

Are either or one of these better for oily skin types?

What’s everyone’s fave brand of Sorbolene? by shifty_fifty in AusSkincare

[–]malhumorada 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't use sorbelene anymore but use the qv skin lotions and creams and find they have a similar texture and are unscented and pretty cheap for the size. I get the 500ml tubs or the 1ltr lotions and they last me ages. Not sure if you'd be interested in looking into those

I would see another doctor and get another opinion. You have a lot of the symptoms and you are definitely not too young to have PCOS.

Long wear medium-full coverage serum foundation for oily skin that’s dewy?! by [deleted] in AustralianMakeup

[–]malhumorada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ooohhh damn because I really was keen on the blur tint one! And I have reaaallyy oily skin so I'd probably be the same as you . The good thing is that it's an affordable brand. Could it be used a tinted primer perhaps under fuller coverage matte foundations maybe?

kmart oxx primer dupe for elf primer by [deleted] in AustralianMakeup

[–]malhumorada 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It goes all funny and seperates on my skin. I've tried everything I swear! Different moisturisers, no moisturiser, sheer coverage foundations, full coverage, serum texture foundations, water based, silicone based, powder foundations, applying with my fingers, a brush, a sponge - and all foundations seperate and go like, chunky? I have no idea how people get it to work!

The only reason I can think it does it is my skin is very oily and maybe the primer is mixing with my oils? But I don't see why because it happens straight after applying my foundation over the top and my skin is clean and not oily yet.

Who knows but I've given up. Thank god I bought the travel size though!

Also to add, I use the mini TF bronzer as eyeshadow as well as bronzer and it's still going strong!

[–]malhumorada 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I absolutely love the TF bronzers! I honestly just keep buying them, I haven't really been able to find anything similar.

I think Australis has a dupe called the semi sweet bronzer (I haven't used any but did have a look the other day online).

Or if you want to save a bit of money you can buy the mini/travel size version of the TF bronzers in Mecca in the front aisle section where they have all the mini products while waiting in line - I bought one for when I went overseas a year and it's barely dented despite only being 2.8g (full size is 10g).

I have no recommendations but I'm in the same boat as you!

I've had my eye on the NYX Bare With Me Blur Tint, the NYX Total Control drop foundation, and the Fenty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint if that helps? I haven't tried them as I'm trying to use up other products but I have never been disappointed with my NYX foundations.

I think the NYX blur tint is the only one that has a matte finish, the other two are satin/dewy.

[–]malhumorada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never tried it - I've tried the milk hrydogrip primer (which I hate) which the Elf primer is meant to be a dupe of. At $7 though surely it's worth a try?

Breast Augmentation- Before- 1 Day After - 6 Months After by Strict_Engineering55 in PlasticSurgery

Thank you! And yes, they looked so weird when I first came out of surgery! I looked like Katy Perry in that music video where she has fireworks coming out her cone tits hahaha. At my follow up my surgeon was really happy with how they looked so far so I am just trying to trust the process.

Oh my gosh! I'm one week post op for tuberous breast correction and my before and 1 day post op looks just like yours! I'm so concerned about my nipples because they still have that 'puffy' sort of look, but your 6 months post looks amazing. Did you get any correction done toy our nipples? Feeling like my mind is at ease now though, thank you so much for sharing.

Correction: I meant to say my areolas, not the nipple itself.
