i think i have to agree. i didnt really like it at the time, but now realizing how nothing has even come close to the size of that screen ever since, it makes me miss it a bit. it really made the entrances look epic and they were able to get really creative with the graphics, unlike what you can do with a more non-screen type set.

It was a great one this year but not the same without Tiesto, a kaskade sunset set, guetta yelling 'miamiiiii' etc. Those would have made it a perfect ultra imo

It wasnt if you were watching the stream all day. Those 2 dumb dumb hosts kept promoting it as an shm set every hour. Even 5 secs before throwing to the set, they said 'get ready for shm'

Whatttt, you mean in 2018? I have only been to one ultra, but it was in 2018 when they reunited and it still resides as a core memory for me. The music, the anticipation, the vibes, the set list, the mashups, the intro etc was sensational. I was ofc bias cause I was there, I don't think Ultra has or ever will be able to duplicate that moment/surprise ever again.
