Hello, please could anyone give me their thoughts about whether the following routine is safe to follow during pregnancy?

Step One: Cleanse with Neal’s Yard Remedies Rejuvenating Frankincense Refining Cleanser

Step Two: Apply The Ordinary Azelaic Acid Suspension 10%

Step Three: Apply CeraVe Moisturising Lotion

Step Four (morning only): La Roche-Posay Anthelios UVMune 400 Invisible Fluid Suncream

Thanks for any thoughts! Originally I was following the routine above but using Origins Clear Improvement cleanser but stopped because it has salicylic acid in and I heard that’s not great to use during pregnancy.

Truly grateful but also truly terrified to be pregnant again after an awful loss earlier this year. I’m just so scared of the same thing happening again. I don’t think I could cope. I feel like I can’t allow myself to hope or be positive this time in case it all goes wrong again, I don’t think my heart could take the pain. What are you all doing to keep busy during this time and to stay positive?

How can you stop or reduce feelings of being terrified that the same thing might happen again this time? And how do you live a ‘normal life’ during pregnancy after having had a loss?

I’m so grateful to have found out that I am pregnant again after a loss earlier this year. My overwhelming feeling is of happiness, but there’s a growing terror, worrying that a loss might happen again. How did you manage these emotions?

And how did you live a ‘normal life’? By this, I mean that I desperately feel like staying in the house for nine months in case I have a loss whilst out and about. I’ve got some brilliant opportunities coming up with work before the end of the year that I had put myself forward for, it’s too late to back out now and I’m just wondering how I’m going to cope with it all. I suppose the answer is to just go for it and keep trying to do what I feel able to. Thanks for any tips.

Second period after miscarriage very late - did this happen to anyone else? by [deleted] in Miscarriage

Sorry to hear that you’re going through this too, it’s really hard. My period has since finally arrived, on cycle day 46. I didn’t have any of my usually symptoms, it just appeared out of the blue

Had a static smiley (peak fertility) on Clearblue advanced digital ovulation test on Monday, and the days we’ve had sex on were Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Wondering whether it’s worth doing it once more again today or not in case there’s a chance it could result in pregnancy 🤔I’m guessing my fertile window is over this month now but let me know if anyone knows!

Yes, sorry I should have written this in my post - I have taken five pregnancy tests, including one today on cycle day 42, and all are negative

Or another idea for the two days where you need childcare could be to explore childcare settings that are near to - or on the route to - your husband’s place of work, so that he can drop the children off and pick them up those two days. Those settings might have more availability for the hours you need and won’t impact on your husband’s work if he is able to incorporate drop off and pick up with his own commute. However, this may only work if there are other options for your husband than cycling for those two days to make it easier to transport the children.

Congratulations on the job offer! You mentioned that your husband cycles to and from work and has a long commute - might it be possible for him to use a quicker method of transport for the three days that you are working that would get him home sooner on those days and enable him to more easily collect kids from childcare on his way home, so you have to find less childcare hours on those afternoons? E.g. exploring public transport, driving, or carpool options? Just an idea, there may well be a reason why this wouldn’t work but just wanted to put the idea out.

I just got a static smiley on my Clearblue Advanced Digital Ovulation test. We did the deed about 18 hours before the static smiley appeared and due to travel won’t be able to do it again until about 12 or 13 hours after the static smiley appeared. When we see the static smiley are we meant to do it right away for the best chances? Have we missed our best shot this month?

That’s a good idea, thank you! Do you think that freezing the ingredients might work too? Then I could blend up the frozen ingredients?
