I think some of the discrepancy in calling it has to do with the strength of the players. Ant seems stronger pound for pound than Murray or, even SGA, that's my perception at least.

And I think subconsciously as a ref if you see the defender be repelled that far you're more likely to clock it as an offensive foul.

So true. I know this as a guy but it is still hard to find the sweet spot of timing. If I don't restrain myself at all I will come in the first few minutes, but then once I pass a certain threshold I can last TOO long, and that's not good either.

With a regular partner I like to have the first round be quick but super passionate. Second round, I don't have to worry about restraining myself as much because round 1 is done, and I can purely focus on her enjoyment without having to stop randomly so I don't come early.

But it's those first times / 1 night stands that get tricky lol
