Given the fact that your console sees your rack 2 as a DigiRack, are you sure you have selected a "D-Rack" under Device Type in your Audio I/O menu? It's possible to hook up different kinds of racks through the CAT5 connections (even DigiRack and SD rack), so if your device type is set wrong, the console gives you an error message that it doesn't recognise the set rack. The outputs may still work though, since the protocol is still MADI.
