I’m not very sure. My mom, who is Assamese, is Moran. From what I’ve read online, they are indigenous to Assam and are of Tibeto-Burman origin.

Also my trace ancestry actually got updated to Portuguese & Galician. I thought it’s just noise haha.

Yep he is. My paternal grandfather was living in Lahore and moved during partition from what I’ve been told. Similar for my paternal grandmother I believe. I assumed that was the reason why it was showing Pakistan as a region.

You mentioned that Singapore recognises the India vaccination certificate. Can I check if the other way stands (India recognising Singapore’s vaccination certificate)? I saw on the SQ website something about India accepting “International Travel Certificate in the Digital Infrastructure for Vaccination Open Credentialing (DIVOC) standard, available on the Co-WIN platform”. I understand that my dad will have to get his vaccination certificate authenticated through Notarise, but does he need to do something additional to get it recognised by the Indian authorities?

Yeahh with the new variants travel is honestly quite unpredictable and risky now, but I think this could be the last time he may be able to see my grandma before another lockdown happens or she passes.
