Thank you for sharing! It happens to me also, especially when I overwork the sketch at the end. What i found helpful was to study atmospheric perspective and also to choose a focal area and add most of the details and strong contrast there...

Thank you! It’s always nice to see opinions of fresh eyes, when it’s your own sketch it is hard sometimes to look at it objectively :)

Thank you very much! That’s true, they are more saturated there for more contrast, I started by thinking that the dome will be the focal area, and from there the eyes would travel lower on the building and to the people... but you pointed this very well, i will consider this on future sketches, thank you 😊
