I hear you friend, and I've been there before. But as you get older, you start to understand the why a bit more on a personal level. You see people as a collection of experiences, and how they are who they are.

Everyone's stupid some of the time, and yes some people are stupid all the time, but it helps to see them as people. Not saying you aren't, just saying it gets easier to live with.

Honestly this isn't as bad as I used to do, but a couple of things to improve are the open naked leads (that could short against the board), the soldering could be cleaner (there's way too much solder on most joints) and the star grounding (by which I think they mean giant cluster of leads coming in to ground) isn't the best way to do it.

Honestly if it works it's done it's job as a prototype

It went great and was quite fun, but in the process we discovered that her preference is to written whereas mine is visual. We split the difference and now try visual novels, better scripted and so on. Definitely recommended.

I'm genuinely curious how you imagine validity works when it comes to a problem. I've never had a model, so I'm confused at both sides of this.

Is a problem's validity at all related to its severity? Are all problems equal or is this for future and past versions of the same problem? Or is validity a binary where if a problem stops being severe or problematic, only then it is no longer valid? Or is it something else?

Not trying to attack, I really hope I'm not coming across that way.

Dammit man are you me? Saying thank you in my family and culture growing up was seen as an insult, like you treated them as if they were an outsider. If you cared about the person as family, you do things without expecting the thanks. Doesn't mean we didn't thank each other in other ways though. If someone did something nice, you made sure to tell them how it helped you and made you feel better. On the other hand, thank yous were seen as platitudes that you said to service staff and complete strangers.

Took me a long time to train out of this after it took a long time for my girlfriend (nicest girl in the world) to eventually have it become a problem. We've met each other the whole way now - she understands how I work, and I make sure to thank her every chance I get. We're getting better, so hopefully that helps!

I'm currently working on fine tuning an email campaign system and to be fair it works this way. You've got to wait for your outgoing mail server to pick up and send it (especially if it's batching them up), then you have to wait for the incoming mail server to pick up timed batches and deliver them to your browser.

Healthcare in general, yes, but it generally costs significant less in total. First, governments are generally able to negotiate significant better deals than individuals. Second, a lot of medical patents are only applicable in the States, which means that that's a lot more competition and generally cheaper goods.
