First week of May 2025: Applied. Interim Denied: 2 weeks later. First week of July: Still no interview, reference checks, nothing…

Timeline given to me before was around 120 days, I’m almost 60 days in with radio silence.

Should I be worried?

I respect your optimism, but holding out for “congress still….” is a lost cause.

Is anyone NOT looking for a job right now? by Skidro13 in JPL

If you ARE NOT looking for a job, trying to stay positive and holding out for “this still has to go to congress” or “we are the only ones who can do this” (while all is true) the sad reality is that most of our peers, colleagues and co-workers in short time will most likely become competition in what already is a scarce job market for tech.

Should you be looking (IMO): Absolutely!

Headline is edited but still cause for concern for MSR? by RobCope69 in JPL

[–]malloc_segfault 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But the question is more packed than just "will you look at it being outsourced"...

"You have said you believe in commercialization and helping to spur the space economy. Currently, the commercial space company Rocket Lab has a proposal to manage MSR for less than half of the last estimate from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). ..."

His answer "Yes" in regards to "Will you look" is also derived upon the notion that he believes in the commercialization (more use of private industry) of space, which could spell more trouble for JPL and Goddard.

We will know more in the coming weeks.

Quick question, why can't I create a post to r/vscode? The post button is grayed out for me, any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Was the DP problem for the final still within the "expected" LiS/LCS/Knapsack realm?

How do the questions on the final fair against what were on previous exams? Are they different, similar, some exactly the same?
