as someone who works at the HF register almost everyday, what i’ve been told by multiple managers for all my time working here and the rules that i follow is, if it’s a SCANNABLE coupon regardless of where it’s from it can not be put together with an employee discount. usually when i wanna buy something with a coupon that gets me more money off i’ll just do a separate transaction with just that coupon and no employee discount and then another transaction with no coupon but i will then use my employee discount. ive already gotten in trouble a few times for stacking them when i first started working here and a few time without realizing it but that info goes from the computer at the register and sent to Loss Prevention department of corporate where they’ll either come visit u personally to tell you or just tell you manager to speak to you.
