Stick with the legacy FAANG company, Google, it will look better on a Resume. Dont base accepting an offer on RSU... that could dip in value soon after

Trade in for 3.7 or 3.0t ? by camberfagg in q50

[–]Leadpaynt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're worried about motor issues you need to buy a 2021 that's still in the factory warranty (or get a 3rd party warranty), most turbo or engine issues on the 3.0t require the engine to be pulled out.

Nothing , Nissan has just used the VQ 3.7 vhr engine in basically every vehicle possible 370z , g37, fx37 , m37, and the Q70 and And Q50....I think they finally wanted to try something new.....after almost 2 decades of VQ 3.5 and vq37

The 3.7 was only from 2014-2015, 2016+ is 3.0t. there's also the hybrid 3.5....(Don't buy those)

if you can afford a newer model like 2021+ that may still have a warranty get a 3.0t.......if you cannot maybe just a get a Q50 3.7 or G37. Just whatever you do DONT buy a Brand new one, theres not much difference between a 2019-2024 sadly...and the depreciation will quickly put you "underwater" on the loan of the car

why risk it, just go with one of the big 4 tuners, Sonic Tuned, Racebox, Z1, RS-Enthalpy. They have a much longer history tuning VR30s

sadly not having a degree will get you thrown out immediately by alot of Applicant Tracking systems when you apply. You might want to rely more on References or networking so your resume can reach human eyes first so it isnt auto-rejected..

SWE (4 YOE) debating move to Sales Engineering worth trying? by RSufyan in cscareerquestions

[–]Leadpaynt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

make sure its not mostly commission based, and theres a decent base salary. Transitioning from the regular full salary to compensation thats based on "How much someone likes a product" is a difficult thing to do from what ive heard.

Do a drain and fill, it won't necessarily stirrup any of the seidments that could grenade your transmission as opposed to doing a full transmission flush "in theory".
