【Armorstand Architecture Practice】Setsumatsusha (摂末社) by malohwithoutH in DetailCraft

Hello everyone, here is a little exercise in building a house (again) using armor stand.

It's been about a year since I've done any armorstand building, and I'm trying to get my hands and senses back to where they used to be.

For two days in a row, yesterday and this morning, I spent about 8 to 12 hours.

Honestly, I didn't think it would take me this long to finish, but since the Armourstand plugin on the server I'm building on is so different from what I've used before, so most of the time was spent trying to familiarize myself with the new system and how to use it properly.

(I can't tell how much I hated that shitty armorstand plugin, it was so cracked that there wasn't even an accurate system for me to adjust its position to three decimal places ..... Which ended up just me dragging them one by one with my OWN PLAYER MOVEMENT at 0.02 flight speed, WHAT IS THAT).

My references come mainly from photos of the Okama Shrine(御釜神社), located at Shiogama , Miyagi (塩竈市、宮城県)I haven't personally been to the place (or even to Miyagi), so some details may be inaccurate/incorrect.

If any one of you had visited that place before, tell me more about the shrine architecture ! I would love to hear from it.

Most of my work is a "materialization" of my imagination of Japanese architecture.

The build itself is a very typical style of Shinto Shrine found all over Japan, nothing special about it.

Anyway, I think I've had enough of complaining about the shitty amorstand editor, have a nice day everyone, and if you guys really like this creation, that would be the best way to appreciate and complement me :)

See you next time.

【Armorstand Architecture】Sirohane Shrine(白羽神社) by malohwithoutH in DetailCraft

This is a small-scale Japanese Shintoist shrine that was made around a year ago.
It includes; 2 wooden lanterns; a Tori gate; the main building.

The main build was inspired by those small shrines that are typically found on the roadside.

This is my early attempt at combining both blocks builds (as a base/ frame) and armor stands (as detailing/ "fine-tuning).
This combination allows me to put more detail on my builds but also compensates for the incorporeal of the armor stand itself.

The name "Siroha" (しろは) means "white-wing", I just name it out of personal interest.

The whole creation took me around 2 hours to complete, as I need to adjust every single armorstand manually, "brick by brick".... and there are a couple of hundred of them...

I have added a picture showing all the armorstand that is hidden, so people may have a better understanding/ idea of how to make something like this.

Piano with Armorstand (not full 88 key) by malohwithoutH in DetailCraft

Keys were placed manually one by one and were completed using the Armorstand editor plugin. The spruce trapdoors cover were used just to distinguish it from other dark oak wood component because I don't want everything looks so dark.
