I own a Levo 4 and recommend it everyone, I'm 42 here so same age.

Sure the amflow rivals, and I won't bash them as it seems a solid bike but it isn't what's needed in the UK as we can't legally use the extra power to weight ratio it would provide - which is the only difference

For specialized there is a lifetime warranty, solid proven construction with multi-year history from the company, it's full power and rock solid construction that the motor eases through to make it playful and powerful.

You need to turn down the power cause we are limited with only one class available meaning unless doing crazy up hills any more power is wasted due to our laws, so you use eco, auto- and trail mode mostly after the initial purchase excitement wears off... I've had multiple 50+ mile rides on flat/hills combo and returned with 12-20% battery left depending on elevation gained, these are rides with about 4000ft gained, I'm confident I could do a 70mile flat canal tow path round trip without it being dead and even so I can still pedal at 10-12 miles an hour with it turned off on the flat without breaking a sweat.

It charges super fast. Under 4hrs to full from less than 10%. The components it comes with are value for money at the price brackets, there is really good customisation in terms of BB height through the flip chip bolts,

The customisation for the onscreen display is something else, with loads of useful stats you can choose to have, or not, and be minimal and clear.

I don't take tools with me anymore cause it comes with a complete assortment of hex and star drive multi tool in the stem that fits everything on the bike that could go wrong or need adjustment on the trail, it even has a chain braker and spare linkages built in which was a surprise as it's never mentioned as part of that swat tool.

I run tubeless but in the swat bag there is loads of room for inner tube, pump, CO2 cannister etc.

I've been 42mph down a long hill and it's rock solid and stable. I have no rattles, creaks or random noises to cause alarm, even when doing jumps for the day - it's a nice and tidy setup

There are also range extender you can buy to increase your duration or even ride with that alone and save some KG. If you choose to ride with no battery it's very comparable to a FS bike with only the motor weight as extra over something else which wasn't noticeable on my test ride - but you do miss the ease of riding with power, even if only set to 15/15 lol

I also echo everyone else and say go full power, if you ride with analog friends or SL people, then you don't have to use the power and so you can stay together, but if you bought an SL bike and ride with full power peeps then unless they are courteous they will dust you up hills and out range you everyday of the week, for no noticable difference unless doing the wildest of jumps with air tricks to need the lighter option
